Its a steep fine for personally benefiting by R22 000 or so, but obviously there is a lesson to be learnt here by Doctors engaged in such practices.

Its shocking to see the types of fraudulent claims continually emanating from this Province.  Doctor Devendra Perumal has however been allowed to make the payment in instalements over the next few years.  He apparently submitted false claims for people not injured in accidents and also completed forms for people he had never seen.
